Lord Shiva is one of the most powerful gods in Hinduism and one of the most popular dieties. He is worshiped throughout the Indian subcontinent and greater southeast Asia. People worship him for strength, wisdom, and inner peace, believing he removes negativity and leads them to enlightenment. He is also known as the patron of yoga and meditation.
